The Ovolo Hotel in Fortitude Valley was our most recent project with IQ Construct, where we set out to redesign the boutique designer hotel formerly known as ‘Emporium Hotel’.  This project was interesting, as the design was eclectic and bold; the world renowned architects Woods Baggot had a hand in creating the hotel’s design.  This project consisted of completing a full fit-out of the bar and kitchen spaces for the ‘Za Za Ta’ restaurant with custom stainless steel as well as commercial foodservice equipment from brands such as Comcater, Moffat, Williams Refrigeration, Roband, Robot Coupe, Mantova, Vintec and countless others.  We were incredibly thrilled to find out that this project of ours, which was built and project managed by IQ Construct, had been awarded the Master Builder Award for Tourism and Leisure Facilities up to $10M.
